Review: Solstice Scents - Loggia

I really wanted to love this one. So many of the notes are scents I like. Allspice? Cardamom? Vanilla? Sign me up! Mahogany sounded interesting...I have no idea what the smells like. How could this go wrong?

Description: Mahogany, Amber, Musk, Vanilla Bean, Allspice, Cardamom, Black Pepper, and Sandalwood

In the Bottle: It smells good, slightly musky, sweet.

Wet: Super amber-y I can't smell any of the other notes.

Drydown: It settles down after about 10 minutes but even then it isn't sweet and spicy like I expected, its just super Amber-y on me. 

Throw: Medium

Wear Time: 3 hours for a single application.

Verdict: Sadly, I think Amber just doesn't work with my body chemistry.  The Amber just overpowers all the other notes on me except for a hint of Sandalwood. 

Solstice Scents' sample vial is the standard stoppered 1 ml vial. It came clearly labeled with an easily readable font.
