Review: Haus of Gloi - Snow Wolf (Yule 2014)

Review: Haus of Gloi - Snow Wolf (Yule 2014)

Description: Bristling and prowling, lonesome and haunting. Three howling firs, white frankincense, vanilla bean husk, tainted by droplets of blood cedar.

In the Bottle: Vanilla and fir

Wet: Fir and frankincense, with a hint of cedar and vanilla

Drydown: Vanilla, fir and cedar

Throw: Medium

Wear Time: 2 hours for a single application.

Verdict: A very complex scent. I wasn't sure about this one at all because it was ever-changing on me. The vanilla note was super strong which I loved, but the fir and cedar rotated in and out and occasionally the frankincense added a spiciness to it. I think this is a delicious scent but better suited to a male, it is too masculine with the cedar and frankincense, for me personally.

This Haus of Gloi sample vial came from a decant circle in a droplet top dram  of 1.5ml; clearly labeled with an easily readable font.
