Verdict: I adore this scent, its lovely, fresh, clean, sweet, and femimine. I would love to purchse this in a linen spray and candles, its just wonderful. I suspect my next hair oil scent will be Troika.

Verdict: This scent was interesting. It smelled kind of like a store during fall. Some what dusty with sweetness, and spiciness from the nutmegs and clove. Not sure I'd wear this as it doesn't seem to interact well with my body chemistry but I was thankful it didn't become overwhelmingly amber.

Verdict: This was a weird scent to me. The apples were juicy smelling, but the heavy under note of yeasty bread kind of soured this one for me. It almost smelled home-y. Thankfully on me the apples were the dominant note.

Verdict: This didn't last as long as I would have liked but it was just as wonderful smelling as the pumpkin butter. Very soothing, orange tartness with the sweetness of cake and toasty almonds, with a hint of tea. Perfect with a book on a rainy day.

Verdict: Lovely, insanely fresh and reviving. I really loved this scent a lot. A good springtime scent or really any time you want a crisp and refreshing scent.

Verdict: I thought this would be weird and awful but to my surprise it was quite wonderful Very fresh without being  food like. It just smelled good. Tart, sweet and savoury all at once. Sadly the throw and wear were low.

I've actually had this for a while now, its one of my favourite lotion scents. 

One of the three Pumpkin Butters I picked up on my first order from Haus of Gloi (the other two being Satyr and Troika). I chose this one in an attempt to balance out the other two foodie scents.

Description: Tiny, little, fluffy orange cakes, sugar coated toasty almonds and a wee steaming cup of black tea!

It smells wonderful. The sweetness of the toasted almonds and the spiciness of the black tea are highlighted by the sweet yet tart note of the orange cakes. It smells delicious. Once absorbed the throw of the scent is low but it lasts forever, easily 12 hours.

I ordered the mini-jar which was 2 oz. It came packaged just beautifully in clear tub, with a sealed top underneath the black screw top so no product could escape during transit. The label is very professional looking and easy to read. Haus of Gloi also puts the scent description on the side of the label which I found to be very helpful.

Verdict: A very complex scent. I wasn't sure about this one at all because it was ever-changing on me. The vanilla note was super strong which I loved, but the fir and cedar rotated in and out and occasionally the frankincense added a spiciness to it. I think this is a delicious scent but better suited to a male, it is too masculine with the cedar and frankincense, for me personally.

Verdict: An odd scent. The roses per usual, ran amok. However, they were kind of soapy smelling and the red musk just made this heavy.  I had been hoping that maybe the leather would make a mellow, almost sweet base with the other notes mentioned being highlights but sadly, no. I am also beginning to wonder if this seasons scents might have something in it that makes a few of them smell soapy and chemically on me.

Verdict: Not sure of the purpose of this scent, but it didn't smell remotely fresh to me, nor on me. It smelled like chemicals and dirt. Just gross. Thankfully the throw and wear time for Ploughman was low on me. I'm not sure I could have handled it, had the throw been more or the wear time, longer.

Verdict: As per usual, the patchouli overpowered everything. It began with the violets bringing a floral sweetness to the patchouli but in moments the patchouli had over-run this scent. I'd be disappointed if I hadn't known this is what patchouli does with my body chemistry. Oh well.

Verdict: I'm shocked. This is a total unicorn scent - a lavender that doesn't stink on me. The peaches give it a mellow fruity sweetness on top of the light white tea base, and the lavender brings a wee bit of musky floral around now and again. Quite the shocker to me, its very nice and soothing

Verdict: I ordered this in a bubbling scrub also and had the same issue. It just smells like plastic to me and on me. Hugely disappointing, I was hoping this would be similar but more feminine than Cozy Sweater. Sadly, I am not the only one that had this scent turn plastic-y on them. The magic of body chemistry.

Verdict:  A very simple and light coffee and chocolate scent.  On the dry down the chocolate note hid but round out the coffee note with some sweetness. I never caught a whiff of pomegranate nor raspberry; sadness!

Verdict: I was sad that the throw and wear time for Spendiferous was so low. It was another winning Gourmand scent, sweet without being sickly and this one even had the delightfully light scent of violets. I think the key to the lightness is the tartness of the lemon to balance the sweetness. All in all, if you don't mind reapplying multiple times a day this is a winner.

Verdict: Delicious. Gourmand without being sickening sweet. The tartness of the lemon and raspberry really make this a scent to pay attention to and balance against the sweetness of the cake note. The peppercorn drifted in and out offering a brief sharpness. To my dismay I never caught the cardamom. Really lovely scent with a good wear time and throw.

Verdict: The gingergrass smells very similar to lemongrass on me. It’s a lovely, bright, tart scent. Coupled with the sweetness of the Frankincense and honey - (which for once wasn't overpowering on me!) made this scent impress me. It really does evoke the mental image of the sun at it's apex, fascinating. Maybe layering this with Driftwood would give the scent of a hot beach day. :)

Verdict: I thought this one was perfect. The muskmelon and lime were ripe and refreshing. Not often does DH comment on my perfumes but he came over and was like 'whatever that is, it smells super good'.  Its a fun summer scent. I would wear this again.

Verdict: Surprisingly, the amber disappeared!!!! When this dried all I was left with was the sweet scent of berries which was lovely. Sadly, the throw was low on me and I was hoping some of the other notes would peak out but they never did. All in all, a lovely scent. More Springtime to me than Summer though.

Verdict: When this went on wet,  it reminded me of a fruity bubblebath scent. Unfortunately, even upon drying it retained that plastic-y bubblebath note that seemed shrink-wrapped with the grapefruit note. This is a bright, fun, scent.

Verdict: So close to being perfect but the damn rose scent had to go and overpower the delightful notes of Jasmine and Ylang Ylang! I thought this might be amazing, provided the Tonka Bean and Vanilla drown out the tuberose but it was not to be, those two notes never made an appearance on me. Sadness abounds!

Verdict: Another scent that's just "nice" on me. Geraniums aren't really a floral I am fond of so this was just "nice".  The red musk and vanilla did help to sweeten this and make it sexier.

Verdict: Wow, a second rose scent that I like. Actually, I love this one. Its adult, its sexy with a hint of gourmand with the chocolate note. The roses are light and sweet rather than heavy. It's floral without being that cloying type of floral.

Verdict: I was thrilled to find the patchouli didn't come out in this blend on me. It stayed very cocoa the whole time, though I caught whiff of the myrrh and roses every now and then

Verdict: This really only stayed a whisper of sweet cinnamon. While it smells good,it was a huge disappointment of time and throw. I was thrilled that the patchouli didn't become an overpowering monster.
